Bonjour, mon amis!
Ever since she was a little girl in Cleveland, Ohio and began putting
together scrapbooks with designs by fashion greats Coco Chanel,
Christian Lacroix, and Yves Saint Laurent Jeannine Denholm has been
inspired to create. But since she couldn't sew and mom and dad would
have been horrified if she moved to Paris or New York to pursue
fashion, she went into television instead.
Fast forward several years to Los Angeles, her
new hometown, where many television jobs and an Emmy later Jeannine
began to get bored. She quickly turned to a new passion which
was transforming old grandmother vintage jewelry into something
you could wear today. And that's how La Bijou Belle, The Beautiful
Jewel, was born.
Jeannine's style is constantly evolving and so
is La Bijou Belle. Not only does the line include classic bridal
designs, it also has funky 1950's Lucite bracelets with beautiful
vintage clasps, wonderful one of a kind pendant necklaces and
earrings made from vintage flea market findings. Each piece is
unique just like the girl who wears them.
